Packing Services
Most removals we undertake involve a degree of packing. If you require a full pack, we will arrive before moving day to wrap up china, glass, ornaments, pictures, books, linens, etc.
We always use clean wrapping paper and other specialist materials like acid free tissue paper, bubble wrap, etc. We can “export wrap” antiques and other valuables for extra protection.
Under certain circumstances we can also provide an unpacking service.
If you are moving overseas, your furniture will need to be "export wrapped" using paper blankets, cardboard and specialist air cell products such as furniguard and bubble wrap. Small items will be carefully packed and boxed. Everything is labelled and an inventory made prior to loading into a shipping container.
For domestic removals, the principle means of protecting your furniture in transit is still the removal blanket. All our vans carry an adequate supply of blankets. We also carry tailor made quilted covers to fit lounge suites, pianos, etc., for protection both in transit and when negotiating tight doorways. We have an extensive range of polythene products to cover mattresses, etc. We provide wardrobe cartons to transport hanging clothes. We can also hire or sell good quality dress rails should you be short of hanging space in your new home.
